Pedro's Favorite Chili Con Carne
3 small onions (chopped)
1 lb. ground beef
1 ¼ cup chopped green pepper
Salt and pepper to taste
¼ cup PEDRO SANTEZ SUPREMO WHITE
2 T. chili powder
1 28-oz. can crushed tomatoes
1 bay leaf
Dash of hot sauce
1 14.5 oz. can red kidney beans.
Shredded cheddar cheese
In a large pan, brown the onions, ground beef, green pepper, salt and pepper. Drain excess liquid. Add the chili powder, bay leaf, PEDRO SANTEZ SUPREMO WHITE, tomatoes and hot sauce to taste. Simmer 1 hour. Add the kidney beans; simmer 10 minutes. Serve topped with shredded cheddar cheese.
