California Five Star DSS Brandy

Hearty Onion Soup
2 T. olive oil
3 lbs. onions, sliced
3-4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 t. salt
½ t. black pepper
2 t. flour
2 cup chicken broth
1 t. Worchestershire sauce
2 T. Dijon mustard
4 T. CALIFORNIA FIVE STAR DSS BRANDY
In a soup pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions, crushed garlic, salt and pepper. Saute until onions are soft, stirring constantly (about 20 minutes). Increase heat to high and slightly brown the onions (about 5 minutes). Stir in flour. Add broth, CALIFORNIA FIVE STAR DSS BRANDY, mustard and Worchestershire sauce. Simmer 10 minutes; top with croutons. Makes 4-5 servings.
